fixes damaged objects
A book that needs some serious fixing: Lycan Unleashed by Tiffany Allee. I actually finished this book just yesterday so it was easy to pick. I loved the two previous books in this series and this one was just so bad.
creates a narrow beam of light
A book that deserves more attention: Daughter of the Sky by Michelle Diener. Also a recent book I read and it was beyond amazing. It definitely deserves more attention, a lot attention actually!
counters the effects of Lumos
An overhyped book: Divergent by Veronica Roth. A lot of people might want to kill me right now, but although I did like Divergent I didn’t think it was anything special.
summons an object from a significant distance
A book you’re anticipating: Burned by Karen Marie Moning. Kind of hard putting up just one because there are so many I’m highly anticipating. But Burned has got to be the #1!
opens unlocked doors, unless bewitched
A book you want to be more open about: The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien. I would love to read these books but they intimidate me so much.
conjures an incarnation of positive feelings
A book that made you cry, or at least want to: Tiger Lily by Jody Lynn Anderson. This book was sooo beautiful but sooo sad. Brilliant book!
conjures the Dark Mark
A book you wish to mark as one of your favorites: Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge. This is definitley one of my favorites. The writing was gorgeous and the story amazing!
An intimidating book you keep putting off: The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling. Yeah. I got this for Christmas last year and still haven’t read it.
used against a boggart
A book with a deceiving synopsis: Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins. The description of it sounded really great but then it just sucked.
A book you wish to burn out of your mind completely: The Elite by Kiera Cass. Just… awful…
causes instant death
Worst book EVER: The Elite by Kiera Cass. Again. Ugh.
puts victim in unconscious state
A book with a chapter you couldn’t seem to get over: One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. Chapter 32, yo! 😀 So hot!
causes befuddlement or forgetfulness
A book that generally confused you: A Sealed Fate by Lisa Gordon. This is the only book by this author and it was just all WTF moments throughout it. Yikes.
inflicts unbearable pain
A book that was a pain to read: Romancing the Bookworm by Kate Evangelista. My dislike for this book all started with a book being thrown into the ocean by the best friend and since then it was all too awful and painful to read.
heals relatively minor injuries
A feel good book that you enjoyed: I’ll have to pass with this one. I don’t usually real “feel good books”.
temporarily disarms an opponent
A book with a swoon-worthy character: Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. ADRIAN IVASHKOV! Don’t you just love him? <3
impedes target’s progress
A book that kept you up all night reading: Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning. Looooooved this book.
A book that left you speechless after you read it: Daughter of the Sky by Michelle Diener. This book wow’ed me so much!
allows you to delve into someone’s mind
A book with well-developed characters: Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer. Definitely this book/series! Amazing characters that were all well-developed.
a spell that turns you upside down
A book that changed your mind about a character from its prequel: The Elite by Kiera Cass. It changed my mind for the worse but still it was changed. I used to love Maxon in The Selection but now I hate him.
used to hide memories
A book with a story you can’t remember: Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. I totally can’t remember what happened in this book… And I don’t want to.
A boring book that had absolutely no effect on you: Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. So. Damn. Boring.
breaks through solid objects
A book that convinced you to reconsider a certain genre: Girl with Guitar by Caisey Quinn. I didn’t read a lot of new adult books before this one.
offensive spell that violently wounds the target
A book that may have scarred you for life: I don’t think any book has scarred me for life. So far…
makes you dance uncontrollably
A series finale that made you feel giddy: Oracle of Delphi by Diantha Jones. I love this series. Everytime a book comes out from it I want to dance to I’m So Excited!
causes an explosion that breaks through obstacles
A book that made you explode with the feels: Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. Again… ADRIAN IVASHKOV, people!
nullifies other spells
A book you thought you’d dislike, but ended up loving: Blood Vine by Amber Belldene. Lately I had read so many wannabe vampire books that I gave up hope to find another great series and then Blood Vine happened!
How about you?
