This basically is the same thing like the Bookish Survey: Cast a Harry Potter Spell I did last month.
It’s so much fun so you all should join along!
Here we go!

rop

District 1

Industry: Luxury Items
Favorite book involving royalty: In a Treacherous Court by Michelle Diener is the first book that comes to mind. And although none of the main characters are actually royalty, King Henry VIII appears in it.

District 2

Industry: Masonry and Weapons
Favorite book on war: The Breadwinner by Deborah Ellis. I read this book when I was a kid and it has always stayed with me. Amazing story.

District 3

Industry: Electronics and Technology
Favorite science fiction book: Cinder by Marissa Meyer. I have to agree with Jasmine on this one. This is definitely my favorite scifi book. But I have to say Terra was a good one too.

District 4

Industry: Fishing
Favorite beach read (however you define one!)Wake by Amanda Hocking. I can read anything on a beach. Whether it’s a paranormal, dystopian or contemporary book. But since we’re talking about District 4 (which is my favorite disctric) I’ll keep with the water theme.

District 5

Industry: Power
Favorite book involving superhuman / supernatural charactersThe Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead. Since there are SO MANY books involving superhuman/supernatural characters that I love, I’ll go with a recent favorite.

District 6

Industry: Transportation and Healing
Favorite road-trip / self-discovery book: I’ll have to pass on this one since I don’t read road-trip books. At all.

District 7

Industry: Lumber and Wood
Favorite book with a wilderness / dystopian settingUnravel Me by Tahereh Mafi. Again I find myself agreeing with Jasmine. This book was amazing, even better than the first one. I need Ignite Me NOW!

District 8

Industry: Fabrics and Textiles
Favorite book coverMistress of the Wind by Michelle Diener. This was a hard one so I went again with a recent one. It’s such a beautiful cover. One of Michelle Diener’s best covers for her books if you ask me.

District 9

Industry: Grain
Favorite under-hyped bookDaughter of the Sky by Michelle Diener. Again I go with a Diener book. I feel like everyone should read this one. It’s so beautiful and shows a different culture so perfectly.

District 10

Industry: Livestock
Favorite book involving animals (werewolves and shapeshifters count!)Bitten by Kelley Armstrong. This one is still my favorite werewolf book. That and The Darkest Powers.

District 11

Industry: Farming and Agriculture
Favorite fictional settingHaven City from Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer. I’ve always wanted to go and see how Haven City would look like. I always pictured it as very techy and just plain awesome. I wouldn’t mind running into Foaly. 😀

District 12

Industry: Coal Mining
Rock solid favorite (from concluded series)Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer. No matter what books I read in the future this will always be my favorite book (and series).

The Capitol

Central seat of government
Favorite book with a political agendaCinder (And Scarlet) by Marissa Meyer. The Lunar queen fits this one perfectly. And she scared the crap out me.

District 1: Cashmere and Gloss

Favorite fictional siblings: Annie and Fia from Mind Games. They’re the first that come to mind. I love them both, they’re both very different from one another but equally kick-ass!

District 2: Cato

Favorite bad-boy character: Warner from Shatter Me. Again agreeing with Jasmine. But I really couldn’t think of any other bad boy at the moment. And Warner? He’s damn great.

District 3: Beetee and Wiress

Favorite genius / geeky characterArtemis Fowl from Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer. Genius? Artemis Fowl of course! 😀

District 4: Finnick Odair

Favorite swoon-worthy hero: Daemon Black by Jennifer L. Armentrout from Origin. How amazing and swoon-worthy was he in this book?! *dreamy sigh*

District 5: Foxface

Favorite mysterious character: Morpheus from Splintered by A.G. Howard. Definitely a characters we have yet to figure out!

District 6: The Morphlings

Favorite secondary character: Kenji from Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi. Kenji… Ah, what can I say? He’s Kenji! I especially love him in Unravel Me.

District 7: Johanna Mason

Favorite female character: MacKayla Lane from Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning. It’s definitely Mac for me. I love how she used to be all pink and rainbows before but she grew into a real kick-ass woman!

District 11: Rue

Favorite fictional kid: Argh. I can’t think of any kids that I like. Can’t I choose Adrian and Sydney’s (Bloodlines) future kids? No? Damn…

District 12: Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen

Favorite fictional couple: Adrian Ivashkov and Sydney Sage from The Fiery Heart & Mac and Barrons from the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning. Sorry, I couldn’t choose!

The Capitol: President Snow

Favorite villain (to kill): *smiles* Queen Levana a.k.a. the Lunar queen from Cinder by Marissa Meyer. All I can say is: Kill the bitch!

So that was a lot of fun!
