Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

This week’s topic is a freebie, so I decided to do a top ten of my favorite genre:

► Historical Fiction

The Maiden Seer by Tracy Ann Miller {My Review}

Roma Amor by Sherry Christie {My Review}
America’s First Daughter by Stephanie Dray & Laura Kamoie {My Review}

Finding Gabriel by Rachel L. Demeter {My Review}
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon {My Review}

Eagles at War by Ben Kane {My Review}

Curses and Smoke by Vicky Alvear Shecter {My Review}
The Emperor’s Conspiracy by Michelle Diener {My Review}

Have you read any of these or what historical fiction books are your favorite?
Let me know in the comments!

  1. Oh I love historical fiction too! Although it's probably not my favourite genre now but I grew up with a reading diet of like 90% HF. ;D It was glorious. I so want to read Outlander sometime! And I love Elizabeth Wein's historicals about WWII and women awesome pilots and spies! Here's my TTT!

  2. I actually avoid historical fiction…I never seem to get into it, but seeing some of these recommendations makes me question why I do that. I should definitely give them a shot 🙂 Outlander is the only one I know, actually. Maybe I'll start there. Thanks for the recommendations.

  3. OMG! I l o o o o v e historical fiction! Mostly adult historical romance, but I do like general adult historical fiction, and YA historical fiction. I read Curses and Smoke – we need more YA stories set in Pompeii for sure. That was an interesting book. I'm curious about The Emperor's Conspiracy!

    Might I recommend The Valiant by Lesley Livingston? Gladiators, ancient Rome, amazing book. 😀

    Have a wonderful week, Stephanie. =)

  4. Great list! I don't read nearly enough historical fiction, but when I do I always enjoy them. I do have Outlander on my TBR though, but I think I need to finish a few of my current series before starting such a big one.

    Thanks for visiting my post.
