Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted @ Tynga’s Reviews
I didn’t have the best week, I must say. Monday I got sick and I’m still dealing with a lot of coughing, sneezing and all that, so I barely read for the past week but I’m starting to finally feel better. Also today I’m getting new pets: two canaries, so I’m excited for that. ♥
First of all I’m going to do my FairyLoot unboxing. Everything in the January box was beyond awesome. I couldn’t have been more happy with it.
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
I had a feeling this book would be in it but still my heart leaped a bit when I saw it in the box. It was a bit of a surprise what cover we would get under the dust jacket because there are 4 possible covers. I got this one:

It’s so gorgeous, I love it! There was a signed bookplate, author letter, bookmark and post card with it.
Next there was another hardcover book in the box, which really made me happy. I can’t wait to read this book. It seems super interesting!

Night Circus pillow case designed by Risa Rodil
This is one of my favorite items from the box. So gorgeous!

Come Back Yesterday candle from Meraki Candles
Fun fact: Stephanie Garber named this candle. I’m so happy to finally have a bookish candle + It smells absolutely amazing!
Funko Mystery Mini: We could either get a Harry Potter or Game of Thrones one. I got Voldemort’s snake Nagini. She’s super cute!

A beautiful Rose necklace designed by Oh Panda Eyes.

Alice in Wonderland bookmark designed by Read At Midnight
This has got to be one of my favorite bookmarks I own now, both sides are beautiful!

Bonus items:
Alchemists of Loom bookmark
Passenger notebook
Jackaby postcard

And that was it for the FairyLoot unboxing. Let me know what you think of all these items.

Bought:
Traitor to the Throne by Alwyn Hamilton
I knew they were going to have this at the bookstore so I felt like I had to go buy it. Luckily the price was pretty decent!

For Review:
Beauty of the Beast by Rachel L. Demeter
I’m so excited to read this book, a Beauty and the Beast retelling by one of my favorite authors!

Happy Saturday, everyone! 😀

Nice haul! I wish I could afford one of those subscription boxes. They always have such pretty things in them! <3

  2. Ooohhh, the Fairy Loot box is amazing! And you got the clock edition, very cool! My USA hardcover preorder arrived today, which was nice. I loved Caraval. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

  3. Great haul! I want to buy a fairyloot sub for a month but it takes a lot of convincing from me when it comes to spending money. I was always wondering where the title "Come Back Yesterday" had meant, interesting to hear that it personally came from Garber!

  4. I can't believe I forgot to add How to think like Sherlock in my stacking the shelves! 😮 I loved the FairyLoot box this month! Beauty of the Beast looks awesome! I hope you enjoy it!

  5. This is such a lovely haul! Honestly, I love the sound of Caraval, and I have seen so many positive reviews about that book! And the pillow and scented candle look just too cute as well. One day, honestly, I'll get myself a fairyloot too!
