Stacking The Shelves: September 2, 2017

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly bookish meme hosted @ Tynga’s Reviews & Reading Reality.

Only have some e-books on this book haul but I’m very excited for them. I’ve read Sherry Christie’s Roma Amor novel so I can’t wait to read Villa of the Mysteries. Also received some new freebies from Hourly History and I’ve already read the James Cook book, which I liked a lot. Also bought two books for 99 cents. I’ve seen a lot of great reviews for His Majesty’s Dragon. I’m probably most excited about the books I’ve received for review. I already read Indebted, another amazing book by Inger Iversen and I’m currently reading A Charm of Finches. I’m not far into the book yet but it’s going to be a tough one, I think. And of course I can’t wait to read Darkness at the Edge of Town, the second Iris Ballard book by Jennifer Harlow. ♥

James Cook: A Life From Beginning to End by Hourly History (already read — 4 stars!)
(these three are not free anymore at the moment)
(this one is still free on Amazon for Kindle)

Bought (for 99c):
Shift by Staci Hart
His Majesty’s Dragon by Naomi Novik
(only His Majesty’s Dragon is still 99c)

For Review:
A Charm of Finches by Suanne Laqueur
Indebted by Inger Iversen (already read — 4.5 stars! Review to come soon.)
Darkness at the Edge of Town by Jennifer Harlow

Have you ready any of the books I featured? Which ones do you think look interesting?

Have a great weekend, everyone! ♥

  1. That's an awesome bunch you got there! I don't think the majority of the reads would do for me, but for some reason Indebted calls to me. I suppose I need to answer, right? 😉

  2. OHHHH, $0.99??? I love a good sale! Naomi Novik's books are so popular and I've always wanted to try one other than Uprooted (which I liked a lot). I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

Have a wonderful weekend, Stephanie. =)

  3. Ever since reading and loving Uprooted, I've really wanted to go back and read Novik's earlier books. I hope you enjoy His Majesty's Dragon! Your other books look really good too! I hope you enjoy them all when you read them, Stephanie!
