This is the little-known story of Placidia, sister to one of the last Roman Emperors. A huge thanks to Raggedy Moon Books for sending a copy to me.

I’ve wanted Stephanie Dray’s debut book for ages so I purchased it when I saw it on sale a few days ago. Also, the Kindle version has this new beautiful cover!

Lily of the Nile looks and sounds great! Hope you love it, I'm gonna add it to my list 😀 Have a lovely weekend, Stephanie!
I've already read a few chapters in it (because I couldn't help myself xD) and so far I really liked it. ^_^
Love the look of both of these! Enjoy!
Thanks Angela! 🙂

So far it's a really good read!
I'm not familiar with these books. I hope you like them! 🙂
So far Twilight Empress is really good and I have no doubt Lily of the Nile will be good as well.
Enjoy your books!
Thanks!
I haven't heard about any of these books but I hope you enjoy all of your new books.

Thank you!
Very nice – and manageable – haul this week, Stephanie. I hope you'll enjoy your new books.
Have a wonderful weekend and happy reading.

I'm doing so well with not buying too many books. Unless they're on sale. :3
Both books look so good and quite close in theme and time I presume. Hope you will enjoy them!
The time periods aren't very close together. Lily of the Nile is about Cleopatra's daughter and Twilight Empress takes place near the end of the Roman empire but still close in theme, yes. 😀
Excuse me while I die over how gorgeous the cover of Lily of the Nile is!! Enjoy your new historical adventures!!

Yes it's so beautiful! I wish it was available with that cover in paperback but it isn't. 🙁
I have wanted to read Stephanie Dray for a while. I love the cover of Lily of the Nile. I hope you enjoy both of these!
Then I would also highly recommend America's First Daughter and My Dear Hamilton. 😀
Not my first choice, but they seem like very interesting reads. Will have to check these out. Thanks for sharing!
Historical fiction is what I live for. Haha 😀
I love the covers of these. I hope you enjoy them. I just adore HR but haven't been reading the genre lately. I have been stuck on thrillers. I hope you have a great week of reading!
Mary my #Sunday Roundup #17!
Both of these sound so good. I haven't heard of Twilight Empress, but I'm intrigued. And I just love the cover of Lily of the Nile. I hope you enjoy them! Have a wonderful week, Stephanie.
Lily of the Nile looks and sounds awesome! I adore the cover and I've heard such great things about that author's books. Happy reading, Stephanie!
Have a wonderful week. =)

What a pretty cover on Lily of the Nile. Hope you enjoy them!
Twilight Empress sounds like a really good read. I love when a book can inform me about history that I did not previously know before.
