Stacking The Shelves: August 11, 2018

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly bookish meme hosted @ Tynga’s Reviews & Reading Reality.

First of all… I got a new bunny! Actually my mom got him for me. At first I wasn’t sure if I wanted a new bunny so soon after losing my old one. I still miss her so much. But I just couldn’t help falling in love with this one and I knew I had to take him home with me. He’s still very little but he’s already got a feisty personality and he makes me laugh so much. His name is Apollo. ♥

Won:
I won this book on Fairyloot‘s FairyChat on Twitter. I still can’t quite believe I actually won their monthly giveaway on it but yay! I picked this book because it’s one I haven’t been able to buy yet. It’s not often that I actually purchase nonfiction for myself and I’ve been wanting to read it for ages. I’m reading it right now and it’s super fascinating!
Shear Heaven by Katy Regnery
I won this book from Megan on Instagram. It’s a modern retelling of Rapunzel!

  1. Steph, congratulations on your win! It's funny because I rarely win giveaways but won 2 books in one week 🙂 I think it seems to come in waves.

Congrats on Apollo too 😀 I recently lost a pet (March) and I had her for 14 years so I feel your pain. It's been 5 months for me, and I still get teary here and there as I miss her so much.

Have a wonderful week! I'm really keen to read Meaghan Spooner's Hunted, is this the sequel?

  2. Same here! Haven't one a giveaway in months and then a couple close together. So weird.

Thank you, Angelica! I had my other bunny for 8 years which is pretty long for bunnies so I still can't believe I will never get to hold her again. But Apollo is helping me for sure. He's so cute.

Aww congrats on the bunny! He's a cutie…

The Cygnus Key looks interesting. And I love the look of Sherwood!

What a cutie!!! I am so glad that he is making you laugh! Also, I had to do a double take on that new Kasie West. There are ARCs already??!! I am so excited about that one. I hope that you enjoy all of these amazing new books. 🙂

  5. Apollon is such a cutie!! He looks like the first bunny we had – he was the best (and we called him Jumpy because he was incredible jumpy 😀 plus, he could jump really high!)
Your new books look really good, I hope you'll enjoy them Stephanie 🙂
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

  6. Oh I have read my first Kasie West book finally and now I can't wait to read more and I need to check out the Spooner series I always love the covers. But first….awe such a cutie! I just became a pet foster this weekend yay for pets!
