Stacking The Shelves is a weekly bookish feature hosted @ Tynga’s Reviews & Reading Reality.

It’s been a month since I did a STS post so got lots of books to show you all!

Bought at secondhand store and flea market:
The Gun Slinger by Stephen King
Grey by E.L. James
The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
A History of the Modern World to 1815 by Joel Colton, R.R. Palmer, Lloyd S. Kramer

Won:
The Indigo Girl by Natasha Boyd
I won this signed copy from the author when she did a giveaway on Facebook. It’s my favorite book of hers so needless to say I’m so happy with it. I definitely need to reread it!

Bought:
Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas
These last few weeks I’ve been reading this series because I want to be caught up before Kingdom of Ash releases and I finally reached Tower of Dawn. I’m currently reading it.

Fairyloot box of September “Starcrossed Swoons” *featuring Apollo*
Yesterday I already received my Fairyloot of September which is incredibly fast. No spoilers from me (I will post my unboxing eventually) but I’m totally in love with this book. It’s definitely one of the best I’ve received so far. Such fun and useful items!

Freebies:
The Viking’s Chosen by Quinn Loftis

Bought:
Not So Nice Guy by R.S. Grey
Racing the Sun by Karina Halle
The Wild Heir by Karina Halle

Bought:
Crimson Vale by Jennifer Harlow

For Review:
The Evolution of Man by Skye Warren

I hope you will all have a great weekend! ♥

  1. What a great haul, Stephanie 🙂 I hope you'll love all these books! Karina Halle's books always it the right spot for me 😉
Have a wonderful weekend and happy reading.
    xoxo

  2. I think Girl on the Train is the only one on this list that I have read and owned. I didn't even have Tower of Dawn on my TBR for some reason.

    Great post!

Apollo is adorable – so fluffy! Yay for King books and man, that Grey book is huge! I guess I didn't realize there was so much to say about him 🙂

  4. The Candid Cover YA book blogg

I am so far behind in my SJM reading. It is overwhelming to get caught up. lol

I hope that you enjoy Girl on the Train. Enjoy your new reads. 🙂

  5. Hi Steph! I loved The Girl on the Train. I'm yet to read The Throne of Glass series, but I've got all the books and ordered ShelfLoveCrate's Kingdom of Ash box, although it doesn't come with the book.

Do you subscribe to Fairyloot regularly? I bought their July box but was underwhelmed and because I was paying roughly $70USD including international shipping I didn't resubscribe. I loved this month's book and wish I'd ordered it. Can't wait to see your unboxing. I've just posted my unboxing for July's box.

  6. Yes I do. Fairyloot is actually one of the cheapest boxes that I know of but I live in Belgium so the shipping from the UK to here isn't that much. And I was so happy with the September box personally. I'm also getting the October one.

  7. I have commented this one Instagram but I am so glad you have a King novel so I can know what you think of it when you try it! And The Girl on the Train is one I have heard a lot about and I hope you will be able to enjoy it as well 😀
