Stacking The Shelves is a weekly bookish feature hosted @ Tynga’s Reviews & Reading Reality.

Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik
I won this book on a Twitter giveaway by Soknou King. It arrived damaged from The Book Depository with pages that were loose and ripped (wtf) but luckily they’re sending me a replacement copy. ^_^

How the Dukes Stole Christmas by Tessa Dare, Sarah MacLean, Sophie Jordan and Joanna Shupe
I absolutely can’t wait to read this but I will try to hold off until December! 😀

Absinthe of the Heart by Monica James
Bought for only 99 cents. I love this author!

I hope you will all have a great weekend and happy reading! ♥

  1. That is wonderful that they are sending you a replacement copy, too bad it came damaged to begin with. Great deal on the Monica James book, I hope you enjoy it and the other. Have a great week.

  2. Congrats on the win! Urgh, I hate it when books arrive damaged, I am usually able to exchange them for a new copy but it somehow puts me off reading those books for a while, no matter how excited I was about reading it at first. I would like to know your thoughts on Spinning Silver, though! I really want to get it too!

    Have a wonderful week!

  3. I feel the same about all of my regency novellas that are set around Christmas! I cannot wait to read them, but I want to do it in December!

  4. How NICE that you won "Spinning Silver"!!!! CONGRATS!!! It's too bad that it arrived damaged, but TBD has excellent customer service, so I'm not surprised they're sending you a replacement copy. I've just added this book to my Goodreads shelves! I NEED to read this author!! 🙂 🙂

I love your other books, too, and have added them, as well! That book of Christmas stories is right up my alley! PERFECT for the holiday season!!

    Thanks for sharing your book haul, Steph!! HUGS!!! <3 <3 <3 🙂 🙂 🙂

  5. Wow, it sounds like Spinning Silver was damaged before it was shipped. I'm happy they've got good customer service though!

Let me know How the Duke Stole Christmas is!

  6. Aww! I don't think that I have had a problem with a BD order before. I am glad to hear that they are resolving your issue. I hope that you enjoy these new reads. I'm excited for some holiday reading, too! 😉
