All I want for Christmas is Branson Ford.

I’ve been starry-eyed for my handsome boss since the day I started working for him at Empire Media. Problem is, he doesn’t see me as anything more than his sweet assistant.

I need help becoming a vixen. I need someone to teach me how to be sensual, how to be desired, and how to get the man I’ve pined over for the last two years. So, I enlist the help of my co-worker.

My very sexy, very charming co-worker, Hunter Johnstone.

Hunter loves the thrill of the chase. He’s spontaneous, honest, and just the man I need for a lesson in passion. When he suggests we start a fake relationship, I think he’s crazy, but who am I to question his jealousy-inducing ways?

His little trick works—maybe too well. The line between friends and lovers is blurred, but maybe that’s because it was never really there. And just as I’m about to start seeing clearly, my Christmas wish comes true.

Charming Co-Worker is part of a series where you can read each book as a standalone. Each book will feature a guy with a different Zodiac sign. In this one’s case the Zodiac sign is Sagittarius (which just happens to be my sign!)

Did I finish this book in less than a day? Heck yes I did! I literally could not stop reading. I was thoroughly hooked! I also think I found my new favorite contemporary romance authors. Also, this is a Christmassy story!

Charming Co-Worker is about Katie who has a huge crush on her boss every since she started working for him. But he doesn’t notice her, at least not as anything beyond being his assistant. And this is where Katie’s hot as hell co-worker Hunter comes in and suggests they should have a fake relationship.

I love the fake dating trope. I’m trash for it. It’s one of my favorites and it was so very well written in this book. It also features a friends to lovers trope and that makes it even better because that’s another favorite of mine. The authors really spoiled me with this one as a reader.

Katie and Hunter together were also a joy to read about. Hunter was very swoon-worthy. He and Katie had chemistry for days and even though they both knew their whole relationship was supposed to be a fake one, feelings quickly developed as they got to know each other better and better and spend more time together. I adored them, their story and I just know other readers will as well.

  1. Ooh, fake dating, friends-to-lovers and Christmas – definitely adding this to my list. It’s also such a nice touch that it’s a series where the heroes have different zodiac signs – I’ll need to look up the Scorpio one (= me) then as well 😉
