Monthly Wrap-Up — November 2020

Posted December 1, 2020 by Stephanie in monthly wrap up / 11 Comments

Hi everyone and happy December 1st!
November was quite the fun reading month for me. I participated in an event called Nonfiction November and it was so fun just reading nonfiction (apart from Charming Co-Worker which I had to read for a blog tour) and working on the blog posts every week. I will definitely participate next year again!

Cleopatra: Fact and Fiction by Barbara Watterson — 5/5★ (my review)
Brief Answers to the Big Questions by Stephen Hawking — 4/5★ (my review)
Charming Co-Worker by Jeannine Colette & Lauren Runow — 4/5★ (my review)

In the Shadow of Vesuvius: A Life of Pliny by Daisy Dunn — 5/5★ (my review)
The DNA of Democracy by Richard C. Lyons (audiobook) — 2/5★ (review to come)
Dominion: The Making of the Western Mind by Tom Holland — 4/5★

21 Lessons for the 21st Century by Yuval Noah Harari — 4/5★

? What was your favorite read of November?

  1. To be honest, I didn’t get to do much reading this November, I was blogging more than I was reading 😀 New to WordPress and blogging community, haha. But it’s been so much fun, adding more and more books to my Goodreads Want to Read shelf. I’m going to add these too: Vesuvius, Dominion and 21 Lessons — thanks!

  2. Looks like you had a great reading month! I constantly say I want to read more non-fiction, so maybe I can work on that and participate in next year’s Nonfiction November… Cleopatra: Fact and Fiction seems like such a fun and intriguing read!

  3. Looks like a great month of non-fiction (+ one fiction) reading, Stephanie! My favourite November read was the Golden-Age mystery, Crooked House by Agatha Christie, but I also enjoyed lots of non-fiction, too. Happy December reading! ?
