Today’s top 5 will be about sequels I haven’t gotten around to reading yet. There definitely will be a part 2 also and maybe even a part 3 because there are A LOT of sequels I haven’t read yet.

The Fiery Cross (Outlander #5) by Diana Gabaldon
I haven’t read the fifth Outlander book is that I wasn’t a huge fan of the fourth book. I loved the first three ones but I just didn’t like the fourth one and that has made me reluctant to continue the series. Also, the books are really long so that’s also a reason why I haven’t dared yet. I do want to, though!
Gold Mine (Diamond #2) by Skye Warren
I’m not quite sure why I haven’t read this book because I really enjoyed the first one and usually I’m jumping on the chance to read a new Skye Warren + dark romance book. So I will have to read this one as soon as I can!
Lightbringer (Empirium #3) by Claire Legrand
I loved Furyborn and I loved Kingsbane even more so I’m actually confused at myself why I haven’t read the third and final book of this series. It’s a freaking amazing one. It’s not the shortest book so I’m sure that’s one of the reasons why I haven’t picked it up. Also may be a little scared about what will happen in this conclusion.
Bright We Burn (The Conqueror’s Saga #3) by Kiersten White
Yet another final book of an amazing series I haven’t gotten around to reading yet. I don’t even have excuses because the first and second books were amazing. I guess that yet again I’m just too scared to find out what will happen. I’m sure death and destruction will be a part of it.
The Outlaw Demon Wails (The Hollows #6) by Kim Harrsion
This series is one of my all time favorites but it’s one I’ve been working on FOREVER. Urban fantasy is my favorite subgenre in fantasy so I definitely need to continue as I love Rachel Morgan and the rest of the gang. This series is really awesome and would 100% recommend it!

? Are you as bad at reading sequels as I am? Have you read any of these books?
I am so bad about keeping up with series! I have read all the Outlander books, though, but totally agree they are super long and thus intimidating!
Keeping up with series is really hard!
My list would be really long, I should sit down and figure out which sequels I’m behind on?
I’ll be able to make unending posts about them ?
I’m awful at sequels too. I still need to read Kingsbane!!
Kingsbane was FANTASTIC!!
Haha, I am also pretty terrible at sequels, especially when the sequel in question is the last book in the series. Good luck reading these sequels, the Kim Harrison one looks/sounds very interesting!
It’s really hard ?
The Gabaldon has always he me curious for the historical angle.
The historical angle is really excellent!
Love this! I haven’t heard of any of the series, so definitely something for me to check out.

I would recommend them all!
I’m also terrible at reading sequels, it’s mostly best if I binge all at one, otherwise it can take forever 🙂 I loved the first Outlander book and yet I never continued – they’re indeed so long and intimidating, though I’m happy to hear you loved the first three! Still need to start The Conqueror’s Saga, I’ve heard so many good things!
I do hope today is the year I’ll continue Outlander, also haven’t continued the tv show because of it 😛
Ah… so many books, so little time! I’ve tried to focus on following up on series I started and enjoyed over the last couple of years and have made some inroads – and then find half a dozen others!! I’m still agitating for someone to invent a reading clone…
Outlanders and Hollows are my favorites too, so agree that you really need to finish those sequels. 😉
Oh, Lord. I have a few sequels that I need to get to as well. *facepalm*
