This week’s topic:
Books I’d Want With Me While Stranded On a Deserted Island
I was thinking that if I were stranded on a deserted island I would finallyyyy have time to reread all my favorites so here they are + quotes!
Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer
“If I win, I’m a prodigy. If I lose, then I’m crazy. That’s the way history is written.”
Airman by Eoin Colfer
“Connor Broekhart was born to fly, or more accurately he was born flying.”
Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
“Kitten, you need to make a decision. Either we stay here and behave or we leave now and I promise you”—his voice dipped lower and the words fell against my lips—“if we leave, I won’t behave.”
Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning
“Last night you said you wanted to know what to expect so you could better select your attire. I told you we were going to visit a vampire in a Goth-den tonight. Why, then, Ms. Lane, do you look like a perky rainbow?”
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
“If I let myself love you, I won’t throw myself in front of her. I’ll throw myself in front of you.”
The Host by Stephenie Meyer
“It’s not the face, but the expressions on it. It’s not the voice, but what you say. It’s not how you look in that body, but the thing you do with it. You are beautiful.”
Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
“I hope your bacon burns.”
A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin
“But it is one thing to read about dragons and another to meet them.”
Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson
“Let me tell you something straight off. This is a love story, but not like any you’ve ever heard. The boy and the girl are far from innocent. Dear lives are lost. And good doesn’t win.”
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
“Be glad of your human heart, Feyre. Pity those who don’t feel anything at all.”

? Have you read any of these books?
Great list! I love Howl’s Moving Castle, and Vampire Academy is one of those classic YA series I’ve always meant to try.
The funny thing about Vampire Academy is that the 4th book is my favorite and that’s usually the book that people like the least. ?
Great picks! I love the quote from A Court of Thorns and Roses, I know it’s quite a popular one too so I’ll have to look into reading it 🙂
I really wanna reread the whole series, the latest release is my favorite out all of them.
I would definitely bring my favorite books, too, so I’d be sure to love the only books I’d be stuck with!
Way better than being stuck with books you might end up hating ?
Howl’s Moving Castle is a great pick!
Yes! I so badly wanna reread it.
I really liked The Host too, it was so different from what I expected?
Have you seen the movie? ?
Vampire Academy was such a good read.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Still one of my favorites!
Having time to reread some of your favorite books would definitely be a good thing! Great list.
It would be so good! I haven’t reread a single book this year yet.
I love ACOTAR as well! I want to read the first book on your list, I watched a movie adaptaion on Disney Plus and enjoyed it.
I’ll warn you, the book isn’t very similar to the movie. I liked the movie on its own, it was entertaining, but I can’t help but wish it had been closer to the book.
Ah, re-reading is the absolute best! I love rediscovering old favorites so much – last winter I re-read the ACOTAR series and loved it! Also, I kind of already want to read The Night Huntress series, even though I just barely finished it haha 🙂 The Darkfever series is on my TBR to read, I’ve heard so many good things!
Great list! I’ve read The Host and ACOTAR and would love to reread both soon.
I loved the Artemis Fowl series when I was a teenager, they were so much fun!
Love the LOST gif! I’m just about done re-watching LOST, so I should know how to survive on an island, right?
Happy TTT!

I just read Howl’s Moving Castle this month and loved it. Happy reading. My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/ten-books-i-want-to-read-by-the-end-of-2021/
I haven’t read any of these, but I would totally want my faves on a desert island too!
What a great idea! Imagine rereading some of those old favourites on an island?! I see that Artemis Fowl is beckoning me to read it right now! 😉
I’m due a reread of Artemis Fowl. But what format is the question. I have it in paperback, e-book and audio ?
Oh goodness. So many of my own favorites here! Sarah J. Maas’s books, Howl, Fever series, Vampire Academy series, Host, and Bones *ahem*. Good things to take to that island. 🙂
Someone needs to seriously drop me at an island with all those books 😛
Of course I’d find Eoin Colfer on your list 🙂
Nobody is surprised ?
