Can’t-Wait Wednesday: The Long-Forgotten Winter King by Annette Marie

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read.

The Long-Forgotten Winter King by Annette Marie
Expected publication: January 14th 2022

I thought I was a useless witch whose only weapons were a switchblade and a mean disposition.

I thought Zak was a rogue druid with waning power and an alluring aura that’s impossible for me to resist.

And I thought my fae familiar was a harmless shapeshifter who chose me because I’m “mildly interesting.”

But nothing is what I thought. Nothing is what it seems.

Including me.

I need answers, and I need them fast—before I sink any deeper in the quagmire of secrets I’ve fallen into.

The Crystal Druid’s. The Winter King’s.

And my own.

From the author of the best-selling Guild Codex books comes a new series that delves into the dark, dangerous world of druids and fae alongside two ravaged souls who may be exactly what the other needs…if they don’t destroy each other first.

Unveiled can be read as a standalone series or in conjunction with other Guild Codex series. For the full reading order, visit Annette Marie’s website.

More series in the Guild Codex world:
The Guild Codex: Spellbound
The Guild Codex: Demonized
The Guild Codex: Warped

The first book in the series, The One and Only Crystal Druid, was one of my favorite reads of 2021 (it actually was in my top 10) so I’m really excited for this sequel. I can’t wait to read more about Zak and Saber. I love them so much! Luckily this book is releasing on January 14th already so I don’t have a long time to wait! 😍
