YOU GUYS!!! Yesterday Jenny and Genn from the Ancient History Fangirl podcast revealed that they have written a book about mythological women. I may have had a mini heart attack at this news. AHF was one of the very first podcasts I’ve listened and truly loved (I still listen to them!) so this makes me beyond excited. I’m just so happy for Jenny and Genn! The illustrations are done by Sara Richard who also illustrated Liv Albert’s (from the Let’s Talk About Myths, Baby! podcast) book so I have no doubts that I will absolutely adore this book. 😭😍

Sara Richard is an amazing illustrator so I have no doubt they will be gorgeous!
Wow, this sounds amazing! I love that it talks about myths from different cultures. I know you will love this😁
Ahh, this looks so cool!
Oh wow, this sounds amazing! I love that it features women from worldwide mythologies (I saw Amaterasu and thought YAY RED WINTER) and that it’ll have illustrations! Added to my TBR (and the podcast is also on my list of podcasts to try of course).
What a cover, the detail is stunning!
Holy smokes – What a fantastic cover! LOVE IT. Hope you will enjoy this and thank you for sharing it. Happy reading.
Interesting, I’ll have to put this one on hold at my local library. That cover is stunning! Hope you enjoy it!
… oh hello, this sounds Uber cool! And what a collection of women!!
I can imagine your excitement!! 😀
That is so fantastic, Stephanie! It sounds like it is going to be a powerful read and I have a feeling that you will love it! 🙂
Another really cool mythology book! But I hope the tales will be meatier, instead of just snippets or 1-2 pager fables. Pretty art is a bonus! 🙂
Fascinating subject. I am reading about Greek gods and goddesses for my February challenge. This would fit in as well.
Which ones have you read already?
I have read The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, Ariadne by Jennifer Saint which I liked very much, and still reading The Illiad.
I’ve read and loved all those!
