I know that summer isn’t officially over yet and it isn’t quite fall yet but once it’s September I can’t help but want all things autumn. Here are my favorite books that I read this summer!

A Shadow in the Ember by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Cruel Summer by Quirah Casey (my review)
Spark of Madness by Brynn Ford
My Best Friend’s Exorcism by Grady Hendrix
How the Wallflower was Won by Eva Leigh (review)
Savage Games by Rachel Leigh

I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy
Wicked Beauty by Katee Robert
Force of Nature by Skye Warren & Amelia Wilde

Have you read any of these books?
Which are your favorite books you read this summer?
I haven’t read any of these, but i have been reading about Jennette Mcurdy’s memoir and gosh its heartbreaking 💔 what she went through!
It’s so much worse when you actually read the book. But a must-read for sure!
Great idea, I love that you came up with a “best of summer” list. I really want to read I’m Glad My Mom Died, also the most controversial title of the year🤣
After reading the book the title totally makes sense. 🙁
I am officially in fall mode – bring it on! Glad you had a great summer of reading and hope it continues into the fall!
Let’s hope so!
I didn’t read any of these yet, Stephanie. I do want to read I’m Glad My Mom Died soon.
I would highly recommend it!
I loved ASITE and I know that I must get back to Annette’s books!
I’m slowly moving through all Annette Marie’s books. Slowly but surely!
Not read any of them, but heard a lot about Jeannette McCurdy’s book. Must get that one.
August was a lucky month for me with five great reads:
Przewalski’s Horse by Maja Lunde
The Brooklyn Follies by Paul Auster
Into the Water by Paula Hawkins
A Very English Scandal: Sex, Lies, and a Murder Plot at the Heart of the Establishment by John Preston
Kingdom of Shadows by Barbara Erskine
All can be recommended.
Yay for The Shadow Weave, Wicked Beauty and A Shadow in the Ember! I’ve been intrigued by I’m Glad My Mom Died, it does sound like a tough read.
