Welcome to my top 10 of 2022!

Today’s post is about the books I didn’t get around to this year. There are way more than just ten but these are the ones that I really wanted to read but just didn’t happen for one reason or another.

Defend the Dawn | Stone Blind

Defend the Dawn is the sequel to Defy the Night, one of my favorite books from 2021.
Stone Blind is a Greek mythology retelling about Medusa.

Elektra | Hide

Elektra is a retelling about Elektra and the infamous House of Atreus from Greek mythology.
Hide is a dark thriller about a hide-and-seek competition that turns deadly.

A Light in the Flame | The Mayfair Bookshop

The Mayfair Bookshop is a historical fiction with dual narratives set in the 1930’s and present day.
A Light in the Flame is the sequel to A Shadow in the Ember, the spin-of series to the Blood and Ash books.

Lord of the Fly Fest | The Diamond Eye

Lord of the Fly Fest is a YA thriller that’s called One of Us Is Lying meets Lord of the Flies meets Fyre Fest.
The Diamond Eye is a historical fiction based on a true story and set in World War II.

God of Fire | The Kraken’s Sacrifice

God of Fire is a retelling of the mythological story of Hephaestus.
The Kraken’s Sacrifice is a fantasy romance about a woman making a deal with a demon.

What do you think of my top 10? Have you read any of these books?
