What things make you instantly want to read a book?
Ancient Rome was such an interesting era!
This list is the epitome of Stephanie! Love it! Renaissance Italy is such an amazing setting!
It was hard picking only 10 😛
I need to explore more historical fiction, especially Pompeii, which always sounds fascinating every time you talk about it😁
I feel like I cheated with that one because Pompeii is also ancient Rome hahaha
Every once in a while a reverse harem gets me. It’s not something I normally reach for. I guess it’s the hype or a blogger review that makes me do it.
Do you have any recs? 😀
Greek mythology for sure!!
YES! 😀
I really enjoy Greek mythology and urban fantasy as well! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
It’s so interesting how different things draw each of us into a book. None of these actually appeal to me, personally, but different strokes for different folks and all that!
Happy TTT!

Mythology books have been very popular lately, I will look into the titles you’ve suggested. Thanks for the recommendations. Happy reading! My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/things-getting-in-the-way-of-reading/
Heh who would have thought you’d pick Greek mythology 😉
I love how this list is so eclectic and diverse and so fitting to your tastes! 🙂
I’ve been getting into reverse harems, though I still have so many to try.
I love Greek mythology, one of my childhood interests that has never really wavered! I do enjoy Ancient Rome too, but have read somewhat less of it: I really want to read Kate Quinn’s Ancient Rome books as she’s one of my favourite authors but they’re kind of hard to find! I do enjoy some urban fantasy, though I’ll admit, I tend to read epic fantasy more. I loved the Artemis Fowl books as a kid but I’ve not really read anything that Eoin Colfer has done since.
I am right there with you when it comes to urban fantasy and Greek mythology! My list would also have to include witches.
