Well, August wasn’t the best reading month for me. While I was on vacation my dog Gigi passed away. This was obviously really hard and still hurts a lot. After this I was in a huge reading slumb which makes sense, of course. I’m still not back 100% on my reading game but I’m getting there again slowly but surely. Hopefully September will be a better month.

What was your favorite book of the month?
I am so sorry about Gigi! I hope time will lessen the pain and leave you with fond memories.
I’m glad we could give her three years of a good home. I hope she knew that. She was a rescue from Slovakia before we adopted her.
I lost my desire to read for a while when my dog passed in June, so I know what you mean. Hopefully you’ll feel like reading more in September.
I hope so too. ♥
I’m so sorry about Gigi, losing a pet can be so hard. I hope you’ll feel better in September ♥
I gotta get back to Sarah J. Maas books. Thanks for reminding me! Great job last month! Happy September!
I’m so sorry to hear about Gigi – and I hope that in time, you’ll be able to remember and celebrate the lovely times you had with her. And I understand about finding it difficult to get your reading mojo back after such a blow – for starters, it can be hard to concentrate… I hope the cooler weather will help, Stephanie:)).
