Monthly Wrap-Up: October 2023

Hey everyone!

Happy Halloween! Spooktober is over now but it was a good one. I read all the books on my TBR and read some extra ones too. My favorite read was A Dowry of Blood. I can’t wait to read more by the author next year. I was also pleasantly surprised by The Witches of Vardø. It was a heartbreaking read but it was so good!

Tomorrow it will finally be November and you know what that means… Nonfiction November is here! My favorite month for reading because I will only be reading nonfiction books. I already have my TBR set and can’t wait to start reading and sharing nonfictions!

  1. A Dowry of Blood is that good? I saw some mentions on TBR lists and of course, that cover is very striking (though you know, it took me a few second glances to figure out the cover, haha!)

  2. Happy Halloween! Mexican Gothic was a great read, glad you enjoyed it! Happy nonfiction reading in November! I hope to pick up at least one or two.
