It was quite the month! I went to the Belgian coast for a weekend with my mom, which was really fun and we’re planning on doing it again at the start of October. My dog Cleo turned 1 year old (picture of her below this intro) and I got a new all time favorite book, Evocation. I’m still obsessed even though it’s been weeks now. I’m looking forward to June!

What was your favorite book of the month?
Awww Cleo😁 Sounds like a good month all around, and so glad you found a couple of new favorite books!
Her head tilt! 😀
I see some interesting historical non fiction here. I am not much into the kind of stories like Evocation, but maybe, maybe this would be interesting to start with.
Cleo is so adorable! I am glad you had a nice time on the Belgian cost with your mom. You have me curious about Evocation. I will have to check it out! I have been so tempted to pick up a copy of The Familiar. It sounds so good! And I really enjoy Leigh Bardugo’s book. I hope you have a great month of June!
Glad you had such a fun trip to the Belgian coast! I bet it was lovely.
Happy birthday, Cleo! Hope you’ll have a lovely June, Stephanie!
