I love this era of time too. This sounds really good. The second cover to me seems a little more fitting with the synopsis. Plus, it’s a beautiful cover. Great pick.
I just don't like how the title is placed on the second cover, which is weird because I usually like UK covers more.

Oooo interesting, the 1930s! I'm weird in that I typically don't love fiction books set during the 1900s. ? A book featuring Hemingway sounds cool though. I hope you enjoy this book when you get the chance to read it!

I'm more into ancient history but in the last year I've found muself pulled toward the early and mid 1900's. Especially during war time. Even though those times were horrible, it still intrigues me.
I like the US cover better. But, this does sound like a great book. I have been reading more books set in the early 1900's but I think that is because of Downton Abbey – I think it broke that barrier of people wanting to read about this time era. I could be wrong tho. Anyway, I hope you get a chance to read it soon! It sounds like a good one!

This one sounds awesome! I love reading about the lives of authors and Ernest Hemmingway is such in interesting guy. I like the first cover more since the title looks really nice and I loove the colors in it 🙂

I agree. I'm sure the marriage between him and Martha didn't end well but it'll be fascinating to read a story about it.
This sounds so interesting! I love the time period it's set in. I like this new trend in historical fiction of focusing on the women "behind" famous men.

I haven't read anything by this author before but I have a lot of interest in Cuba as a setting, so this is why this one interests me. I have also been to Spain a lot (not Madrid yet) so that might be interesting :3
