Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read.

Alex Stern returns in another tale of murder and dark magic set among the Ivy League elite…
Galaxy “Alex” Stern is determined to break Darlington out of hell—even if it costs her a future at Lethe and at Yale. But Alex is playing with forces far beyond her control, and when faculty members begin to die off, she knows these aren’t just accidents. Something deadly is at work in New Haven, and if Alex is going to survive, she’ll have to reckon with the monsters of her past and a darkness built into the university’s very walls.
Finally after waiting for so long we have the title, cover (ewww…), short synopsis and release date of the sequel to Ninth House. I’m not a fan of the cover but I’m very happy to finally know when the book will release and already it’s my highest anticipated book for next year. I’ve been anticipating it since I finished the first book back in 2019 and I hope it’ll live up to it.
Are you also looking forward to this book?

That is a very confident author to put something so disturbing on her cover like that — yikes! That said, I hope it’s a good read!
That cover is SO WEIRD but I’m happy we’re finally getting the book!
I almost featured this today too! I need to catch up with the first book soon. And this rabbit cover will be added to my ongoing list of books with rabbits on the cover🤣
Oh, YES!!! I loved Ninth House, so I will be thrilled when I can get my hands on this one! Even with the oogy cover – that’s disturbing.
Ooh I didn’t even know Ninth House was getting a sequel, and was just thinking of reading it this week! Timing… 🙂
Ugh. I haven’t read the first in this series–those covers are just awesome, though!
Whoa, what is going on with that cover??
I agree, that cover isn’t good. I haven’t read Ninth House yet, but will before this one comes out.
That cover is . . . yuck. I hope the insides are better!
I must say that I can’t wait for the story but I personally find the cover disturbing and … I would like an alternative cover to be honest!
As someone who had had bunnies it’s hard to look at =/
I have to give the first one another try! I had a hard time getting into it and I usually love Bardugo. I hope that you love this one! 🙂
I’m so excited for this one too! Though the cover is not my fave either.
