Monthly Wrap-Up: May 2023

Posted May 31, 2023 by Stephanie in monthly wrap up / 9 Comments

May has been quite the month. I read more than usual and although none of the books I read were 5 stars, I did read a lot of 4 stars and mananged to finish a series (Steal and Stone by Annette Marie), which I really enjoyed and that’s always great. I also finished my Goodreads reading challenge of 50 books so May certainly was productive for my reading.

Books read in March: 13
physical books: 2
e-books: 8
audiobooks: 3

Deny All Charges by Eoin Colfer — 4/5★
Het Ontstaan van de Tijd: Mijn Reis met Stephen Hawking voorbij de Oerknal by Thomas Hertog — 2/5★

Sanda Dia: de Doop die Leidde tot de Dood by Pieter Huyberechts — 4/5★
Yield the Night by Annette Marie — 4/5★

Feed the Flames by Annette Marie — 4/5★
Reap the Shadows by Annette Marie — 4/5★

Unleash the Storm by Annette Marie — 4/5★

The Awakening by Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti — 3/5★

  1. Great and productive reading month for you. I have not read any of the books you mention. I have two books which were the most interesting this year. Florian Illies Love in the Time of Hate. One of the best books I have ever read (review will follow soon) and a new purchase in connection with my visit to Amsterdam and the Vermeer and Van Gogh exhibitions; Van Gogh’s Ear by Bernadette Murphy (review will come as well). A whole new research and findings on his life.
